A few extra details regarding our 2024 Virtual Competition.
Don't forget to read the Rules and Regulations for more specific information.
Why is there a Virtual Competition when in-person regionals are back?
The aim of the CPAC is to offer accessible formats to competitors Canada-wide. Virtual competitions are inclusive to Canadian competitors who are not ready/able to travel or participate in large events.
How does a Virtual Competition vary from live events?
A Virtual competition will run as closely to an in-person event as practical. The Rules and Regulations stipulate the differences, but notably virtual competitions have separate Technical Specs, online video submission of your “best” run through, pre-judging in advance of the event, and an online viewing platform so your performance can be viewed by friends and family from anywhere in the world.
Why is the Virtual competition the same price as an in-person event?
All events have different costs associated, and CPAC has applied a Nation-wide standard for all competitors. All events are equally important, and all events act as qualifiers towards the National event. Whether you are in a smaller or larger, virtual, or live event, all registration fees are the same.
What if I win my Virtual division/level but do not wish to attend Nationals?
We have heard from competitors for whom competition is most engaging when offered in-person and are eager to return to stage. We also understand not all competitors are able to travel or participate in large events. All invitations will be issued to Nationals to qualifying competitors, without the expectation that all competitors will be able to accept. If you are not able to attend Nationals, we hope you enjoy your title as a champion of the Virtual competition.

2016-2020 worked as circus performer, Worldwide (aerial pole, silks, hoop);
2020-2023 Aerial apparatus instructor (Silks, Slings, Pole, Hoop), Ukraine and Poland;
2023 - pole dance instructor at VogueFit, Winnipeg, Canada;

Carolanne Kreiser is the passionate owner of Fly Fitness Aerial Studio in Kamloops, where she brings her expertise as a pole instructor to life. With a background in competitive figure skating, Carolanne infuses grace and strength into her teaching style, emphasizing technique and artistry. Specializing in both tricks and exotic pole dance, she creates an empowering and supportive environment for her students to explore their abilities and push their limits. Carolanne's dedication to her craft and her commitment to fostering a welcoming community make Fly Fitness Aerial Studio a hub for those seeking to elevate their fitness journey while embracing creativity and self-expression.
 


Elspeth Cudmore

Elspeth Cudmore

 
Elspeth is a Toronto-based circus artist who specializes in aerial pole and contortion. Throughout their journey, Elspeth has developed a distinct style - a juxtaposition of melting movement and striking shapework, tied together with an overarching disposition for drama.

Elspeth has traveled across Canada honing her craft and dazzling audiences in productions such as Jamie Allan's Illusionarium, Electra Productions Pole Craft, Vital Circus Cabaret, and a variety of showcases.

Elspeth is also the professional winner of Pole Theatre Canada 2022 and will be travelling to compete in the next Pole Theatre World Championship.

Emma Donnelly

Emma Donnelly

 
Emma has been coaching and performing a variety of aerial apparatus’s for several years now. Emma has been a resident aerialist at several venues in Toronto and has performed at many corporate events on hoop, silks, dance trapeze and hammock. Emma has also had the privilege of performing two summers in a row with AP Events at the Toronto Botanical Gardens in a full length circus and dance show.
 

Jenny Goodwin

Jenny Goodwin

 
Jenny Goodwin has been doing pole sport & art for fourteen years which includes 9 years of instructing & coaching and 12 years competing at National and International levels. In 2019, she competed at the POSA World Championship in Finland.
 
She is certified as Circus Instructor with Ecole Nationale de Cirque; Module 5 with Alixa Flexibility; Judge with CPAC; and coaching certifications with CPSAF and IPSF.

Tina Stone

Tina Stone

With over 30 years combined experience in competitive gymnastics, dance and pole fitness, Tina has been instructing and competitively coaching in all disciplines of pole, silks and lyra for over 12 years. She has certified, judged and volunteered with CPFA, PSO, IPSF and POSA at regional and national events annually upon their establishment in Canada, with the goal to keep current and comprehensive knowledge of the pole and aerial competition circuits.

As director of Canadian Pole and Aerial Sports Inc. and newly appointed organizer of the CPAC, Tina is thrilled to be provided opportunity to continue the longstanding history of the Canadian Pole and Aerial Championship. She is committed to promoting an unbiased, inclusive, high-quality competition experience to athletes across Canada.

Proud owner of 3Sixty Dance & Fitness in Ottawa, ON, Tina’s passion lies in nurturing a safe, inclusive, creative space for students to achieve their goals and develop as artists and athletes.
